Second Time Around Opens Its Doors to Northampton

Upscale resale has come to Northampton, Massachusetts. High-end consignment chain Second Time Around has opened its newest store on Pleasant Street, making this location the 30th in the company's repertoire. With a customized denim bar and a mix of high-end and affordable brands, STA has something for everyone from the college student on a budget to the stylish mom-on-the-go.

Taking consignment upscale, Second Time Around carries the most coveted designer brands and items at a fraction of their original retail value. Based in New England, Second Time Around has established a national presence with 30 stores across 11 states in some of the country's hottest style districts. Since opening its doors in 1973, the company has grown into a national brand, bringing high-end items at budget-friendly prices to closets everywhere, both in stores and online.
From high-end handbags to designer jewelry to premium denim, each store has a unique selection of upscale consignment. With 50,000 active consignors across the country, Second Time Around constantly curates their exclusive inventory, bringing customers seasonal, current pieces in new and like-new condition.

To consign items, clients call a STA location near them and schedule an appointment. Items are priced at 65%-70% off their original retail value and are placed on sale for a 90-day period, wherein consignors receive 40% of the final selling price. Articles of clothing must be of a current style, seasonally appropriate and generally no older than two years.
